About the Symposium

Broaden your business horizons

Effective student recruitment

Bigger and better, it now offers a full day of programming.
The Symposium was founded to encourage ethical, sound student recruitment. Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants follow a stringent code of ethics and respect the industry’s best practices when advising and representing candidates to study in Canada and navigate the immigration system.

RCICs benefit yearly from Continuing Professional Development programs offered by the Canadian Association of Professional immigration Consultants (CAPIC). Along with their extensive immigration and citizenship education, they also attend specialized workshops on international student recruitment offered by leading industry professionals — providing the necessary edge over other agents and recruiters. In short, there's no one better equipped to handle the ever-increasing demand to study in Canada.

The Agenda

Gain the tools to carve out a new business niche.
To foster greater connectivity at each level of the international education process, the Symposium invites participating Designated Learning Institutions from CAPIC’s Education Partner Program, RCICs, and senior government officials to work toward a mutually beneficial future — of which the Symposium is just the beginning.

- Gain intimate knowledge of your client’s dream school via one-on-one conversations with the educators who know it best
- Sample the range of programs each DLI has to offer, discover their hidden strengths and weaknesses, and lay the all-important groundwork ahead of time
- Close deals with DLI representatives in a collegial and relaxed atmosphere
